The stagnating surroundings poison my being
I suffer constant self-derision, in the listless gaze of these apparitions
Burn

Flying pyres, vying for the air
Suffocating sound with relentless rage
The sacrament corrodes my shield of self-imposed fear

The thunder roars and the rain erases
I am man, defaced by nature
Born within a swelling storm,
Nature nourished, and winter-worn

In the violence of the squall
The skies will heave
In nature godless
This is pure insurrection
In a hopeless world of my own invention

Through the passage of the soul,
This eye will see,
The mind will transport,
Forging ascendance,
In the raging furnace, there will spout a flame, the pulsing heart of an immortal life form

Open up your eyes, to the serene surroundings, these rivers run like veins
We’re the falling rain betweens the skies and the plains
My eyes lay their gaze on you, and I pray that we will never change


I feel nothing but your absence, there’s no light within the haze
Leading me back, to start again, away from all of this
Breathing in the open air, for the first time, in an era of uncertainty
